For my first post I thought it would only be appropriate to share my very own nug of the week…
I took this photo with a point and shoot back in 06′ when Larry and I took a trip to Oahu to visit our good buddy Bradley. Larry to the left of me telling me to snap a shot, knowing that someday this photo would actually be useful, and now the payoff. Thanks Larry.

Yah buddies.. allow me to introduce the newest member of team Layback Larry here…
Josh, or Jdays as he will be posting on here as, is my good bud from high school on the central coast of California. He was always the best surfer out of our group of friends, and has been combining his love of the ocean with his new love of photography. He has recently worked as a seasonal park ranger out at the sacred Jalama Beach, living in his parked RV steps away from the sand, and still puts in time here and there at our local surf shop.
We are super stoked to have his creative eye and layback style here at Layback Larry…

In addition to being an out-of-this-world photographer, Steve also works at one of the best lunch-time watering holes in town, Board n Brew, which just so happens to be down the street from Chuck and I’s place of work. Needless to say we go there often.
